Following the completion of the two ELHI Programmes in
2005, evaluations were commissioned for each. The results of these, undertaken

| Strategic Leadership International - our logo |
| Our work aims to recreate a sense of discovery
and practical realisation. The childrens hands in our logo are a good
symbol for both the style and purpose of our leadership work. A child sees
things anew, and with a remarkable ability to strip away the varnish of
age. |
| The hand print is often the first "Art-work"
that a child produces - it is individual, practical, experimental and all
their own work. As such it represents the first steps in discovery and a
tangible and simple demonstration of it. |
| Together the hands represent working with
others across the countries and colours of Europe, to produce new and practical
insights into the work of the Public Sector. As a group the hands form a
star - symbolising the development of leadership and shining light on new
and challenging problems. |
| We want our clients to experience this sense
of discovery new creation and urgency in their work and we provide a real
opportunity for people to come together, to see, to experience and to learn
so that they can lead change and improvement in their chosen fields of work.

| 10 Years of Experience |
| Over the past 10 years we have worked with
leaders in health from many European countries, (England, Sweden, Denmark,
the Netherlands and Eire). The most powerful experience so far has been
the highly interactive Learning for Leadership Programmes between England
and Sweden, (European Leaders in Health Care Improvement - ELHI for short).
Participants improve their management skills, particularly in analysing
and recommending the needs for organisational change. |
 |
| "The Programme offered me a unique opportunity
not only to work alongside colleagues from the Swedish healthcare system
but also to gain an insight into the political dimension played by the health
agenda within the country. I personally gained confidence in dealing with
unknown situations in managerial terms and the added bonus was making friends
and contacts that are still maintained today." |

 |
| One of the methods we have used is a high-speed
consultancy process between the participants. Clinicians and Managers work
together on consultancy assignments for health organisations across a wide
range of subjects from influencing political leaders through performance
management to tackling major health issues such as teenage pregnancy. |
 |
| "This was a great learning experience for
me which gave me new perspectives that allowed me to see my own healthcare
system from new angles. The programme was very stimulating. I found the
method of diagnosing and characterising an organisation in a short period
of time very fascinating and I was awed by the power and accuracy of the
method. Co-consulting is a method that proved to be very useful apart from
the professional benefits that this cooperation programme has given me.
Im also happy for the gains and contacts I have made on a personal
level." |
